Future Nurses Club of Knox County 
The Future Nurses Club of Knox County was organized in the Fall of 2006 by a group of dedicated nurses and others at Knox Community Hospital.
The Club's mission is to:
- Provide avenues for high school men and women to learn about nursing.
- Assist high schools in advising students to prepare for a career in nursing.
- Collaborate with local, regional and national education programs.
- Mentor students through professional interactions with nurses from the community.
- Provide nurses an opportunity to develope long-term relationships with students.
Over 25 nurses volunteer their time and talent to provide educational and fun activities as a way to introduce high school students to consider a career in nursing.
A minimum of 6 students are needed to place a chapter in the area high school. More than 50 students are currently participating in chapters at:
