Foundation Governance
The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital consists of two classes of membership: Voting members and non-voting members. Voting members are appointed by designated community governmental and interested agencies. There shall be no more than 45 voting members of The Foundation and no limit on non-voting members of The Foundation.
Any individual 18 years old or older interested in the advancement of Knox Community Hospital shall upon request be designated a non-voting member of The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital by making a monetary contribution or voluntary service to The Foundation or Knox Community Hospital.
Voting Members of The Foundation shall be appointed from the following entities:
Each Township located in Knox County Ohio, the City of Mount Vernon, the Villages of Centerburg, Fredericktown, Danville, Gambier, Martinsburg, and Gann, Apple Valley Property Owners Association, the Knox Community Hospital Medical Staff shall be entitled to appoint a voting member to The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital. The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital Board may appoint at large voting members up to the limit of 45 total voting members.

Directors and Officers
The powers of The foundation shall be exercised, its business and affairs conducted, and its property controlled by the board of directors, except as otherwise provided by Ohio law, the Articles of Incorporation, By-laws, and other documents of governance of this corporation.
