Tribute Gifts ... Honoring Life
Tribute gifts to The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital are a meaningful way to honor or remember family members, friends, a caring nurse, or dedicated physician, while supporting immediate and ongoing needs of the hospital. A tribute gift gives donors the personal satisfaction of knowing their gifts will help care for patients and fund a variety of patient care services. When a donor makes a tribute gift, he or she receives an acknowledgement, with the required tax information. Notification of their gift is promptly sent to the person or family designated.
Giving to the Annual Fund
There are many ways to support our hospital, beginning with a tax deductible gift each year to the Annual Fund. Through special letters to donors and personal appeals, the Foundation raises funds in order to respond to hospital needs such as capital equipment acquisition, educational and complementary care programs for patients and continuing education for clinical nursing staff. Private donations provide essential funding to all areas of the hospital that are not funded by other sources.
Each year gifts from both old and new friends of the Foundation ensure that the ongoing, day-to-day programs offered at Knox Community Hospital remain strong and at the same high level of excellence patients and the community expect. As medicine evolves and the healthcare environment changes, direct support of the Annual Fund provides a flexible and reliable source of funds to meet ongoing and newly discovered needs of the hospital.
Contributions to the Annual Fund can be designated to support a specific purpose or program or left unrestricted, to be used where the need is greatest.
Your commitment to our efforts is deeply appreciated. Every gift to the Foundation, no matter how large or small, helps strengthen the hospital's mission and commitment to the health and wellness of the community.
