The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital
Contributes $18,500 to KCH Cardiovascular Services
Mount Vernon, OH - Nearly 2,400 Americans die of cardiovascular disease (CVD) each day, an average of 1 death every 36 seconds. CVD claims more lives each year than cancer, chronic lower respiratory diseases, accidents, and diabetes mellitus combined.
The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital recently contributed $18,500 to the hospital to purchase an Exercise Stress Test System. This stress test system will be used in the Cardiovascular Services Department at the hospital. The system provides cardiac diagnostic testing for heart disease. Configurable user profiles deliver the flexibility to expedite testing and quickly create a wide variety of commonly used reports. The stress test results are clearly presented on the display - supporting quick decision making.
The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital is a not for profit organization established to unite our community in the support of our hospital. Generous contributions from community members help to meet the growing healthcare challenges of our growing and aging population.
