Position Title: Radiologic/Mammographic Technologist (FT)
Department:	Diagnostic Imaging
Position Description:	This position is responsible for performing diagnostic/screening radiographic/mammographic procedures with both stationary and portable equipment. A technologist is responsible for all functions necessary to complete the procedures, such as, assessing patient condition, film processing, documentation, and patient transportation. Communication and collaboration with all other healthcare team members is paramount. All actions shall be performed in adherence to hospital policy, federal and state regulations, and the highest professional practice standards.

Requirements include: Graduate of an accredited program for radiology technology. Individual MUST possess and maintain a current radiographer license from the State of Ohio Department of Health and a current A.R.R.T. registry as an R.T. Additional A.R.R.T. licensure as a Mammographer is preferred MQSA requirements for a practicing Mammographer must be current (continuing education and procedure quotas) CPR certification required Preference will be given to individuals with past hospital experience
