Physician - Internal Medicine Physician, Full-time

The Hospitalist is responsible for direct patient care in the area that s/he is assigned. We need physicians who can care for ventilator patients in the ICU and who can do some basic procedures, or who will be willing to relearn how to do them if they have not had recent experience. (Insertion of central lines, intubation, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar taps)

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Unencumbered license to practice as a physician in the State of Ohio required
• Graduate of an approved residency program is his or her specialty
• Board certification from a national accrediting body in his or her specialty or verification that he/she has met the requirements to apply for board certification. Board certification must occur within the time frame established in the Medical Staff Bylaws
• Post residency (not including fellowship training) clinical experience preferred in specialty.
