The Staff Pediatrician is responsible for direct patient care in the area that s/he is assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
M.D. or D.O. degree.
Graduate of an accredited medical school with licensure to practice as a physician in the State of Ohio required.
Graduate of an approved residency program for Pediatrics with board certification from a national accrediting body to practice pediatrics or verification that he/she has met the requirements to apply for board certification. Board certification to occur within the time frame established by the accrediting body.
Knowledge of rules and regulations in this specialized health field.
Meets all requirements in order to obtain medical staff membership and required privileges of service.
Post residency (not including fellowship training) clinical experience preferred in specialty.
