The Future Nurses Club of Knox County will be sponsoring a nursing school program on November 8, from 6-8 pm at the Mount Vernon Developmental Center, in the Great Room. High school students, their parents and guidance counselors are invited to attend this event. Representatives from North Central State Technical College, Central Ohio Technical College, the Knox County Career Center, Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Ashland University will present a panel discussion with overviews of their programs, campus information as well as admission criteria. They will share information on the application process and their nursing program regimen. Financial aid counselors will provide information on how to “navigate the financial waters”, including FAFSA information, financial aid information and websites.
If you are a high school student considering a career in nursing, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable information. The Future Nurses Club of Knox County is sponsored by Knox Community Hospital and welcomes anyone interested in nursing as a career to attend this event.
