The Future Nurses Club of Knox County begins it sixth year! An avenue for young men and women to learn about nursing as a career option.
The club offers interactive activities that expose students to nursing, assist schools and parents in advising students on how to prepare for careers in nursing and opportunities for the mentorship of students through professional interactions with nurses at Knox Community Hospital.
There are currently eight area high schools represented—Centerburg, East Knox, Danville, Fredericktown, Knox County Career Center, Loudonville Mount Vernon and Utica, but the club is open to any high school student interested in learning more about nursing.
This year the Future Nurses Club will meet once a month at Knox Community Hospital from 6 pm - 7:30 pm.
