The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital reflects our community's generous spirit and unwavering commitment to Knox Community Hospital.
The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose sole purpose is to raise charitable gifts in support of our county hospital.
Charitable contributions are essential to enable our hospital to make capital improvements and enhance health programs and services. They also allow the hospital to keep pace with technological advances and professional development trends.
It is heartening to know that in the midst of a difficult economic climate our donors continue to help us advance the mission of the hospital. We have seen the difference that giving at all levels can make and are humbled by the compassion and generosity of our philanthropic community.
All gifts to The Foundation directly benefit patients and community, and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

2010 Gift for the Heart
This year The Foundation’s “Gift for the Heart” annual giving campaign will focus on new and upgraded technology for Knox Community Hospital’s cardiovascular departments. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for Knox County residents. Help us to make a difference. With your generous contribution we will purchase:
- 2 Philips PageWriter Cardiographs
- Epiphany ECG Management System
- IntraAortic Balloon Pump
- LIFENET 5 year Transmission and Referral Subscriptions
- Modems for LIFENET for every emergency squad in Knox County
- 2 Life Fitness Ellipticals for the KCH Cardiac Rehabilitation Center
- Life Fitness Fit 3 Multi Gym for the KCH Cardiac Rehabilitation Center
All contributions are tax deductible and stay right here in Knox County.
