| Knox Community Hospital and Mid-Ohio Corporate Care announce WellnessWorks, a program to aid local area businesses and industries in controlling rising workers’ compensation and general healthcare costs. There is no cost associated with enrolling in this program.
The three basic components of WellnessWorks are: injury prevention to promote workplace safety, injury intervention to minimize treatment time and lost work days and preventive health education to develop and maintain a healthy workforce.
A centralized coordination office assists employers with all aspects of managing their employees’ healthcare needs. This office is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
