Location: Fifth floor of the hospital
Office Hours: 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week
In addition to providing respiratory care to our patients, some of the tests we perform are:
- Pulmonary Function Studies (Breathing Tests)
- EKG (Electrocardiograms) — Electrical Function of the Heart
- ABG (Arterial Blood Test)
- CO (Carbon Monoxide Screening by a Single Expiration Breath Test)
 Respiratory Care Services also provides treatment for asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, croup, and pneumonia with a physician’s order.
We provide equipment for intensive care to assist and or control breathing. We also provide educational material for common respiratory diseases and smoking cessation. We stabilize newborns for transport when required medical care is continued at Children’s Hospital.
The Respiratory Care Staff are licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioners by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
 The Sleep Disorders Center
Painless overnight or daytime testing for Sleep Disorders is scheduled when indicated after a thorough evaluation of your medical history and lifestyle to determine factors that my be influencing your sleep habits. Our medical director is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine. The Sleep Disorders staff is comprised of board-registered or eligible Polysomnographic Technologists.
- The Sleep Disorders Center is located on the 3rd floor.
