Heartsaver AED
(Automated External Defibrillator)

For lay people or those NOT giving direct care, i.e. secretaries, office staff, dietary, registrars, etc. Includes CPR and AED use in adults. Also includes recognition of stroke, heart attack, cardiac arrest and choking. Includes child and infant CPR, choking and prevention of injuries. This course does not have a renewal. Attendee must repeat the entire course every two years. Skill stations required and course completion card issued.

KCH Employee – Free
Non-KCH Employee – $35.00
Includes Heartsaver AED textbook

Heartsaver AED Workbook
Must be obtained 1 week prior to the course through the KCH Education Department at (740) 393-9791.

Registration
Registration is required to attend this course. Deadline for registration is 7 days prior to class. Fee refund only for registration if canceled 7 days prior to course date.
