Friends and Family CPR Course.
For laypersons (family members, etc.) who want to learn rescue skills and basic CPR. Includes skills in CPR, and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction. Adult module also includes information about the AHA adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking. Pediatric (child and infant) module includes Pediatric Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of the most common fatal pediatric injuries, and reduction in the risk of sudden infant death syndrome. Manikin / skills practice included, however no written test is required. A course participation card is issued. This is not a course for those requiring a “credential” for CPR.
