Development
Our Mission
The mission of the Development Department is to be the financial steward for corporations and individuals who want to participate in supporting Knox Community Hospital through The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital.
Turning the Dream into a Reality - Our Recent Success
The Development Department coordinated the hospital's very successful capital campaign. Knox Community Hospital's "Hope Accelerated Capital Campaign" ended successfully after raising over $1.8 million by March 2006. Publicly launched in March of 2004, the campaign was the largest fundraising effort in the history of Knox Community Hospital.
We are enormously grateful for the generous support of the members of the Knox community and surrounding areas. This capital campaign was propelled by a cadre of generous, motivated campaign volunteers who made up the Capital Campaign Cabinet. These dedicated members are:

Our Future Includes You
Now, over twenty-five years later, The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital is undergoing a change in its focus and structure in order to be able to meet the demands of future health care users and aging population.
The Foundation is realigning itself to better grow and meet future needs. It is our goal to have representation from each township in Knox County Ohio, the City of Mount Vernon, the villages of Centerburg, Fredericktown, Danville, Gambier, Martinsburg, and Gann, as well as the Knox Community Hospital Medical Staff.
