Basic Life Support (Renewal)Healthcare Provider CPR Course .
The Healthcare Provider CPR Course (Renewal) provides information and skills pertaining to adult, child and infant CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), bag-valve mask, pocket masks and foreign body airway obstruction. Manikins/skills stations and written test are geared for healthcare provider requirements. Initial Health Care Provider course certification required within 2 years. Health Care Provider Renewal is taken as a renewal to the initial course.
Who should attend?
Healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician assistants, residents, fellows or medical or nursing students, aides, medical or nursing assistants, and other allied health personnel.

Class Times
Classes start promptly at 8:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm and 5:00pm. Please allow 2.5 to 3 hours to complete the course.

The Education Resource Center is located on the east side of the parking lot in front of the hospital.
Course Fee
KCH Employee – Free
Non-KCH Employee – $35.00
CPR Books
Must be obtained 1 week prior to the course through the KCH Education Dept. at (740) 393-9791.
Registration
Registration is required to attend this course. Deadline for registration is 7 days prior to class. Fee refund only for registration if canceled 7 days prior to course date.
